Mobile Applications to Fight against COVID-19 Pandemic: The Case of Saudi Arabia

In order to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic government of Saudi Arabia launched three mobile applications namely Tetamman, Tabaud & Tawakkalna keep public aware about corona virus and ensure monitoring suspected cases. The objective this study is curb spread by enhancing social measures investigate role in achievement objective. Comprehensive review was made a survey approach used evaluate effectiveness these applications. Findings indicate that users perceive are successful objectives for which were launched. key performance indicators (KPIs) included efficiency, ease use, satisfaction users, fulfilment purpose, usefulness helpfulness etc. average number respondents, who agreed performing according mentioned KPIs, 86.6% 80.5% 90% Tawakkalna. More awareness campaigns needed so more people adopt use applications, could significantly help identification new casesand enhance telehealth teleconsultations. Moreover, should be upgraded self-triage.
